Salt, to taste
-
Black pepper, to taste
-
3–4 cloves garlic, minced
-
2 tbsp butter
-
1 tbsp olive oil
-
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
-
Lemon wedges (optional, for serving)
Instructions
-
Season the Steak – In a bowl, toss steak cubes with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Let rest at room temperature for 10–15 minutes.
-
Heat the Skillet – In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high until shimmering.
-
Sear the Steak – Add steak in a single layer. Sear for 2–3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to preferred doneness. Work in batches if needed. Remove steak and set aside.
-
Make the Garlic Butter – Lower heat to medium. Add butter and garlic to the same skillet. Sauté 30 seconds until fragrant.
-
Combine – Return steak to skillet. Toss to coat in garlic butter. Remove from heat.
-
Serve – Garnish with fresh parsley. Optional: squeeze lemon juice for brightness. Serve hot.
