Description

These Caramel Chocolate Crunch Bars are a perfect combination of creamy peanut butter, rich chocolate, crunchy rice cereal, and smooth caramel. With a quick preparation time and no baking required, these bars are an easy and indulgent treat for any occasion.

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 cups crisp rice cereal
  • 1 cup caramel bits
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions

  • Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper for easy removal.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter. Microwave on high for 1 minute, then stir until smooth and fully combined.
  • Stir in the rice cereal until it’s evenly coated with the chocolate mixture. Press half of the mixture into the prepared pan, spreading it out evenly.
  • In another microwave-safe bowl, combine the caramel bits and water. Microwave on high for 1 minute, then stir until smooth and creamy.
  • Pour the caramel over the chocolate mixture in the pan, spreading it evenly.
  • Top with the remaining chocolate mixture, pressing it down gently and spreading it evenly over the caramel layer.
  • Refrigerate for 1 hour or until set and firm.
  • Once chilled, cut into bars and enjoy these delicious crunchy treats!

Notes

  • You can use milk chocolate chips if you prefer a sweeter bar.
  • If you want a firmer texture, you can refrigerate the bars longer than 1 hour.
