Ingredients
Scale
- 1 loaf of bread (a baguette or Italian bread works well)
- 1/2 cup of butter, melted
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon of chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Using a sharp knife, make diagonal cuts in the loaf of bread, being careful not to cut all the way through (leave the bottom of the loaf intact).
- In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter and minced garlic.
- Gently separate the bread slices and brush the garlic butter mixture in between each slice.
- Stuff the shredded mozzarella cheese in between the slices, ensuring the cheese gets into each cut.
- Wrap the bread in foil and bake for 15 minutes.
- Unwrap the bread, sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese on top, and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
