Description

  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup whipped cream

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, beat the eggs and sugar together until thick and pale.
  • Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gently fold until the mixture is well combined.
  • Pour the batter into a greased and lined baking sheet, spreading it evenly.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
  • Carefully roll the cake using a kitchen towel to help, then let it cool completely.
  • Unroll the cake and spread an even layer of whipped cream. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
  • Roll the cake again and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before slicing and serving.
