- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a mini muffin tin or line it with paper liners.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, mix the melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and milk until combined.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Fill each muffin cup halfway with the batter.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- While the cakes are baking, melt the chocolate chips in the microwave or over a double boiler until smooth.
- Once the cake puffs have cooled slightly, dip the tops in the melted chocolate and let them set.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

- For a festive touch, you can add colorful sprinkles or crushed candy canes on top of the chocolate for extra holiday cheer.
- If you prefer a richer chocolate coating, you can dip the entire puff in chocolate.
