These homemade cinnamon roll doughnuts combine the sweet, spiced flavor of cinnamon rolls with the crispy texture of doughnuts. Topped with a cinnamon glaze, they make a perfect breakfast treat or dessert for any time of the day.

For the Doughnuts:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
For the Cinnamon Glaze:
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp milk
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a doughnut pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, egg, vanilla extract, and melted butter.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Spoon the batter into the prepared doughnut pan, filling each well about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the doughnuts comes out clean.
- While the doughnuts bake, prepare the glaze by mixing powdered sugar, milk, and cinnamon in a small bowl until smooth.
- Once the doughnuts are done, allow them to cool for a few minutes before dipping them into the cinnamon glaze.
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes
- If you don’t have a doughnut pan, you can bake the batter in a muffin tin for a similar result.
- Adjust the glaze consistency by adding more milk for a thinner glaze, or more powdered sugar for a thicker one.
