Description

Crack Chicken Tenders are creamy, cheesy, and bursting with bold, comforting flavors. These baked (or air-fried) chicken strips are coated in a seasoned ranch and cream cheese mixture, topped with melty cheddar and crispy bacon. Perfect as a main dish, party snack, or meal prep option, they’re keto-friendly, low-carb, and totally addictive. One bite and you’ll see why they’re called “crack” chicken!


Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs chicken tenders

  • 6 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp onion powder

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided

  • ½ cup cooked bacon bits

  • 1 tbsp olive oil or cooking spray

  • 2 tbsp chopped green onions (optional)


Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Preheat to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment or foil.

  • Make Mixture: In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and half of the shredded cheddar.

  • Prep Chicken: Lay tenders on the baking sheet. Lightly coat with olive oil or spray.

  • Spread Mixture: Spoon and spread the cream cheese mixture over each tender.

  • Add Toppings: Sprinkle remaining cheddar and bacon bits on top.

  • Bake: Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until chicken reaches 165°F and topping is golden and bubbly.

 

  • Garnish: Top with green onions and serve hot.

Notes

Use turkey bacon or plant-based bacon for dietary variations.

Air fry at 375°F for 12–15 minutes for extra crispiness.

Add jalapeños or crushed red pepper for spice.

Makes a great keto meal with cauliflower mash or salad.
