  • Author: Sarah
  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Description

A rich and creamy pasta dish featuring tender chicken breasts, fettuccine pasta, and a luxurious Alfredo sauce made with heavy cream, butter, and Parmesan cheese. The perfect comfort food, ready in 35 minutes!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Cook the chicken until no longer pink in the center, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet and slice into strips.
  • In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Stir in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and butter. Cook until the sauce has thickened, stirring occasionally.
  • Add the cooked pasta and sliced chicken to the skillet, tossing to coat in the creamy sauce.
  • Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

  • You can substitute chicken breasts with chicken thighs for a juicier option.
  • For a richer flavor, add more Parmesan cheese or a pinch of nutmeg to the sauce.
  • Feel free to add vegetables like broccoli or spinach to the dish for extra nutrition.
