Description

Creamy, flavorful, and impossibly tender, Crock Pot Marry Me Chicken is a romantic dinner made easy! With seared chicken breasts slow-cooked in a luscious ranch cream sauce packed with sun-dried tomatoes, Parmesan, garlic, and herbs, this dish is rich, comforting, and irresistibly delicious. One bite and you’ll understand how it earned its name—it’s that good!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped

  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil

  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Sear the Chicken:
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Sear each side for 2–3 minutes until golden brown.

  2. Add to Crock Pot:
Transfer seared chicken to the crock pot.

  3. Make the Sauce:
In a small bowl, whisk together ranch seasoning, heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, basil, and red pepper flakes.

  4. Layer & Cook:
Pour sauce over the chicken. Add sun-dried tomatoes and sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.

  5. Slow Cook:
Cover and cook on low for 4–6 hours, or until chicken is tender and fully cooked (165°F internal temperature).

  6. Serve:
Spoon the creamy sauce over chicken and serve with pasta, mashed potatoes, rice, or steamed vegetables.

Notes

Add fresh spinach during the last 30 minutes for extra color and nutrition.

Make it spicy: Increase red pepper flakes to taste.

Use boneless thighs for extra juicy results.

Sauce can be thickened at the end with a cornstarch slurry if needed.

Great for meal prep and reheats beautifully.
