This creamy, delicious chicken dish is cooked to perfection in the crock pot, coated in a rich and flavorful sauce made with ranch seasoning, sun-dried tomatoes, and Parmesan cheese. It’s an easy, comforting meal that will have everyone asking for the recipe!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Sear the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then sear them for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned.
  • Transfer to Crock Pot: Transfer the seared chicken breasts to the crock pot.
  • Prepare the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together ranch seasoning, heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, basil, and red pepper flakes.
  • Combine: Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken breasts in the crock pot. Add the chopped sun-dried tomatoes and grated Parmesan cheese on top.
  • Cook: Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours, or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  • Serve: Serve the creamy chicken with pasta, rice, or steamed vegetables for a complete meal.

Notes

  • Flavor Variations: For extra flavor, you can add a bit of fresh spinach or mushrooms along with the sun-dried tomatoes.
  • Creaminess: If you prefer a thicker sauce, you can remove the chicken about 30 minutes before serving and let the sauce simmer in the crock pot with the lid off.
