Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cups milk chocolate chips
  • 40 saltine crackers
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  • Line a crockpot with aluminum foil, leaving some overhang for easy removal.
  • Place a layer of saltine crackers on the bottom of the crockpot.
  • In a saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar together until smooth.
  • Pour the butter and sugar mixture over the saltine crackers.
  • Cover and cook on low for 2 hours.
  • Sprinkle chocolate chips over the top and let them melt for a few minutes.
  • Spread the melted chocolate evenly over the crackers.
