- 1 cup heavy cream
- 8 ounces mascarpone cheese
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
- 24 ladyfinger cookies
- 1/4 cup chocolate shavings (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, beat the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- In another bowl, combine mascarpone cheese, sugar, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until well combined.
- Dip each ladyfinger cookie into the brewed coffee and layer them in the bottom of a dish.
- Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
- Repeat with another layer of dipped ladyfingers and mascarpone mixture.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight.
- Before serving, sprinkle chocolate shavings on top.
Notes
- For a more intense chocolate flavor, increase the amount of cocoa powder or use dark chocolate for the shavings.
- Make sure to refrigerate the tiramisu for at least 4 hours to allow the flavors to meld.
