- 1 box of graham crackers
- 1 (8 oz) package of cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 (3.4 oz) packages of instant butterscotch pudding mix
- 3 1/2 cups milk
- 1 (16 oz) container of frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup caramel sauce
Instructions
- Line the bottom of a 9×13 inch dish with a layer of graham crackers.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
- In another bowl, whisk together the pudding mix and milk until thickened.
- Fold the whipped topping into the pudding mixture.
- Layer half of the pudding mixture over the graham crackers in the dish.
- Sprinkle half of the chopped pecans over the pudding layer.
- Add another layer of graham crackers on top.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining pudding mixture and pecans.
- Drizzle the caramel sauce over the top layer.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- For a more traditional pecan pie flavor, you can add a few tablespoons of maple syrup to the pudding mixture.
- Make sure to let the dessert chill for at least 4 hours to allow the layers to set properly.
