Description

These no-bake Easter Bird’s Nest Cookies are an adorable and festive treat that’s as fun to make as it is to eat! With crunchy chow mein noodles, creamy chocolate and peanut butter, and colorful candy eggs, these nests make the perfect springtime or Easter dessert for kids and adults alike.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1½ cups milk chocolate chips

  • ⅔ cup peanut butter chips

  • 4 cups fried chow mein noodles

  • 1 (10 oz.) bag chocolate or malted milk eggs (like Cadbury Mini Eggs or Whoppers)

Instructions

  • Melt Chips: In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine the milk chocolate chips and peanut butter chips. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until fully melted and smooth.

  • Mix in Noodles: Gently fold in the chow mein noodles until they are fully coated in the chocolate mixture.

  • Form Nests: Scoop spoonfuls of the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and shape them into nest shapes with a small indent in the center.

  • Add Eggs: Place 2–3 chocolate or malted milk eggs in the center of each nest.

  • Set: Let the nests cool at room temperature or refrigerate for 15–20 minutes until firm.

Notes

Use cupcake liners for cleaner shaping and serving.

Feel free to substitute with butterscotch chips or white chocolate for different flavor variations.

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
