Description

These festive Easter Egg Oreo Cookie Balls are the perfect treat for your holiday gatherings! Combining the rich, chocolaty goodness of Oreos with a creamy filling and a colorful coating, these bite-sized delights are as cute as they are delicious. Easy to make and fun to eat, they’re a fun twist on the classic Oreo truffles — perfect for Easter, spring parties, or any time you want a sweet, no-bake dessert!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (15.25 oz) Oreo cookies

  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup white chocolate chips

  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for smooth coating)

  • Sprinkles or colored sugar (for decoration, optional)

  • Food coloring (optional, for pastel hues)

Instructions

  • Crush the Oreos: Place the Oreo cookies in a food processor or a large resealable plastic bag. Crush them into fine crumbs.

  • Make the Filling: In a large mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos with the softened cream cheese. Mix until smooth and fully combined.

  • Form the Balls: Roll the Oreo and cream cheese mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

  • Chill: Refrigerate the balls for about 30 minutes to firm up.

  • Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips and coconut oil (if using) in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.

  • Coat the Balls: Dip each Oreo ball into the melted white chocolate, ensuring it’s fully coated. Use a fork to remove any excess chocolate and place back onto the parchment-lined sheet.

  • Decorate: While the chocolate is still soft, decorate the balls with sprinkles, colored sugar, or a drizzle of melted chocolate.

  • Chill Again: Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the chocolate coating to harden.

  • Serve: Once the chocolate has set, the Easter Egg Oreo Cookie Balls are ready to serve!

Notes

You can use different colored chocolate coatings for variety or even dip half of the ball in dark chocolate for a contrast.

If you don’t have a food processor, a rolling pin and a plastic bag will work to crush the Oreos.

These cookie balls can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week.
