- 1 package cream cheese, softened (8 oz)
- 12 oz chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk chocolate)
Instructions
- Crush the Oreo cookies in a food processor until finely ground.
- In a bowl, mix the crushed cookies with the softened cream cheese until well combined.
- Roll the mixture into small balls (about 1 inch in diameter) and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Chill the balls in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to firm up.
- While the truffles chill, melt the chocolate chips in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between, or melt over a double boiler.
- Once the truffles are firm, dip each one into the melted chocolate until fully coated.
- Place the coated truffles back on the baking sheet and refrigerate until the chocolate hardens.
