These adorable Easy Reindeer Cupcakes are a fun and festive treat for the holiday season! Made with a simple chocolate cake base, topped with chocolate frosting, and decorated to look like reindeer faces, these cupcakes will bring joy to any party or gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1 container chocolate frosting
  • 24 pretzels
  • 24 red M&M’s
  • 48 candy eyes

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  • Prepare the chocolate cake mix according to package instructions and fill each cupcake liner about 2/3 full.
  • Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool completely.
  • Frost each cupcake with chocolate frosting.
  • Break pretzels in half and stick two halves into the top of each cupcake to resemble antlers.
  • Place two candy eyes and one red M&M on each cupcake to create the reindeer face.

Notes

  • To make it easier, use a box cake mix and store-bought frosting, but you can also make homemade versions for a more personalized touch.
  • Be sure to cool the cupcakes completely before frosting to prevent the frosting from melting.
  • You can also use mini pretzels for smaller antlers.
