- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)

Instructions
- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Prepare the Filling:
- In a large skillet, cook the crumbled sausage over medium heat until fully cooked and browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the cream cheese to the sausage and stir until the cream cheese is melted and fully combined. If using shredded cheddar cheese, mix it in at this point. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper to taste.
- Assemble the Crescents:
- Open the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles as per the package instructions.
- Spoon a generous amount of the sausage and cream cheese mixture onto the wide end of each crescent triangle.
- Roll and Bake:
- Roll up each crescent from the wide end to the point and place it on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the crescents are golden brown and fully cooked.
- Serve:
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy warm!
