  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Description

This Easy Stromboli Dinner combines layers of savory meats, melty mozzarella, and a hint of garlic, all wrapped in golden, crispy pizza dough. Perfect for a quick weeknight meal or as a party appetizer, it’s deliciously satisfying and easy to make!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pizza dough
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted, divided
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella, divided
  • 12 thin slices ham
  • 15 slices salami
  • 1517 slices pepperoni
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • Marinara sauce for dipping

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough:

    • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a rectangular shape, about 12×10 inches.
  2. Garlic Butter:

    • In a small bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of melted butter with minced garlic. Brush the garlic butter over the rolled-out pizza dough.
  3. Layer the Ingredients:

    • Sprinkle ½ cup of shredded mozzarella cheese over the dough.
    • Layer the ham, salami, and pepperoni evenly on top of the cheese.
    • Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top of the meats.
  4. Roll the Stromboli:

    • Carefully roll the dough from one end to the other, ensuring the filling stays inside. Pinch the edges to seal it.
  5. Egg Wash:

    • Brush the top of the rolled Stromboli with the beaten egg. Sprinkle garlic powder, Parmesan cheese, and chopped parsley over the top for extra flavor.
  6. Bake the Stromboli:

    • Place the Stromboli on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and the cheese is melted inside.
  7. Serve:

    • Allow the Stromboli to cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve with marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

  • Customize the Filling: You can add other meats like pepperoni or even sautéed vegetables for extra flavor.
  • Dough Tip: If you prefer a softer crust, brush the dough with butter before baking.
  • Storage: Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days and reheated in the oven or microwave.
