Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pizza dough
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted, divided
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella, divided
- 12 thin slices ham
- 15 slices salami
- 15–17 slices pepperoni
- 1 egg, beaten
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
- Marinara sauce for dipping
Instructions
-
Prepare the Dough:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a rectangular shape, about 12×10 inches.
-
Garlic Butter:
- In a small bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of melted butter with minced garlic. Brush the garlic butter over the rolled-out pizza dough.
-
Layer the Ingredients:
- Sprinkle ½ cup of shredded mozzarella cheese over the dough.
- Layer the ham, salami, and pepperoni evenly on top of the cheese.
- Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top of the meats.
-
Roll the Stromboli:
- Carefully roll the dough from one end to the other, ensuring the filling stays inside. Pinch the edges to seal it.
-
Egg Wash:
- Brush the top of the rolled Stromboli with the beaten egg. Sprinkle garlic powder, Parmesan cheese, and chopped parsley over the top for extra flavor.
-
Bake the Stromboli:
- Place the Stromboli on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and the cheese is melted inside.
-
Serve:
- Allow the Stromboli to cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
