- 2/3 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 egg

Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix together the milk, sugar, and egg until smooth.
- Slowly add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until well combined.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F.
- Using a small cookie scoop, drop batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving
