  • Author: Sarah
  • Total Time: 22 minutes
  • Yield: 4 burgers 1x

Description

Juicy and flavorful, these Greek-inspired chicken burgers are packed with crumbled feta, fresh herbs, and savory garlic. Paired with your choice of crisp toppings and creamy tzatziki sauce, they’re a refreshing twist on the classic burger.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Toppings of your choice (lettuce, tomato, cucumber, tzatziki sauce)

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, feta cheese, red onion, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Form the mixture into 4 equal-sized patties.
  • Heat a grill or grill pan over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes per side, or until fully cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
  • While the patties cook, toast the hamburger buns on the grill for 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Assemble the burgers by placing each patty on a bun and adding your choice of toppings (lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and tzatziki sauce work great).
  • Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can substitute the ground chicken with ground turkey for a slightly different flavor.
  • Feel free to add extra vegetables like spinach or olives for more authentic Greek flavors.
  • Tzatziki sauce is a great addition to keep the burgers moist and flavorful.
