Description
Juicy and flavorful, these Greek-inspired chicken burgers are packed with crumbled feta, fresh herbs, and savory garlic. Paired with your choice of crisp toppings and creamy tzatziki sauce, they’re a refreshing twist on the classic burger.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 4 hamburger buns
- Toppings of your choice (lettuce, tomato, cucumber, tzatziki sauce)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, feta cheese, red onion, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into 4 equal-sized patties.
- Heat a grill or grill pan over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes per side, or until fully cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
- While the patties cook, toast the hamburger buns on the grill for 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Assemble the burgers by placing each patty on a bun and adding your choice of toppings (lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and tzatziki sauce work great).
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
- You can substitute the ground chicken with ground turkey for a slightly different flavor.
- Feel free to add extra vegetables like spinach or olives for more authentic Greek flavors.
- Tzatziki sauce is a great addition to keep the burgers moist and flavorful.
