Description
These Grilled Beef & Broccoli Wraps are a delicious and healthy option for a quick dinner or lunch. Tender, grilled beef is paired with crisp-tender broccoli and wrapped in a soft tortilla with a savory sauce, making it a perfect meal on the go.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb Flank steak (or any preferred cut of beef, thinly sliced)
- 2 cups Broccoli florets (steamed or blanched)
- 4 Large tortillas (whole wheat or regular)
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Honey or brown sugar
- 1 tbsp Garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Ginger, grated
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp Sesame seeds (optional for garnish)
- Fresh cilantro or green onions (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Marinate the beef: In a bowl, mix the olive oil, soy sauce, honey (or brown sugar), garlic, and ginger. Season with salt and pepper. Add the thinly sliced beef to the marinade and let it sit for at least 20 minutes.
- Grill the beef: Heat a grill pan or outdoor grill over medium-high heat. Grill the marinated beef slices for 3-4 minutes per side until browned and cooked through. Set aside.
- Prepare the wraps: Warm the tortillas on the grill for about 1-2 minutes, then remove them and set aside.
- Assemble the wraps: Lay a tortilla flat and layer it with a portion of grilled beef, steamed or blanched broccoli, and any additional garnishes like sesame seeds or cilantro.
- Roll up the wraps: Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll it tightly around the filling.
- Serve: Cut the wraps in half if desired and serve immediately
Notes
- You can use a leaner cut of beef, like sirloin, for a healthier version.
- Feel free to add other veggies such as bell peppers or shredded carrots for extra flavor and crunch.
- For a spicier twist, drizzle a little sriracha or hot sauce inside the wrap.
