Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Mix in the vanilla extract and lemon zest.
- Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing until well combined.
- Gently fold in the blueberries.
- Press the dough into the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
- Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
Notes
- For extra lemon flavor, you can add a bit of lemon juice to the dough.
- If fresh blueberries are not available, frozen blueberries can be used, but do not thaw them before folding into the dough to prevent excess moisture.
