A delightful dessert featuring crispy filo pastry filled with a sweet and tangy blueberry mixture, enhanced with a touch of lemon zest. This spiral pastry is the perfect balance of flaky, fruity, and refreshing!


Ingredients

  • 1 pack of filo pastry
  • 1 cup of fresh blueberries
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 1/4 cup of melted butter

Instructions

  • 1 pack of filo pastry
  • 1 cup of fresh blueberries
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 1/4 cup of melted butter

Notes

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, mix the blueberries, sugar, and lemon zest.
  • Brush a sheet of filo pastry with melted butter and place another sheet on top.
  • Spoon some of the blueberry mixture onto the filo pastry.
  • Roll the filo pastry into a log and place it in a spiral on a baking tray.
  • Repeat with the remaining filo pastry and blueberry mixture.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!
