  • 2 cups pretzels
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Prepare Pretzels: Crush the pretzels and spread them evenly in the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  • Make Caramel Layer: In a saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture is smooth.
  • Assemble: Pour the caramel mixture evenly over the crushed pretzels in the pan.
  • Add Chocolate: Sprinkle chocolate chips on top of the caramel layer and allow them to melt. Once melted, spread the chocolate evenly over the caramel layer using a spatula.
  • Chill: Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until the bars are firm.
