  • Author: Sarah
  • Total Time: 45 minutes (including refrigeration time)
  • Yield: 12-16 cookie balls 1x

Description

These Peanut Butter Oreo Cookie Balls are a delightful combination of creamy peanut butter, Oreo cookies, and rich chocolate. Perfect for any occasion, these bite-sized treats are easy to make and irresistible. With a crunchy exterior from the crushed Oreos and a smooth, peanut butter-filled center, they make a perfect indulgent snack or gift!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package Oreo cookies (about 36 cookies)
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (milk or dark chocolate)

Instructions

  • Crush the Oreo cookies in a food processor until they are finely ground, or place them in a resealable bag and crush with a rolling pin.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed cookies with the peanut butter. Stir until the mixture is well combined and sticky.
  • Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, or melt using a double boiler.
  • Dip each cookie ball into the melted chocolate, coating it completely. Use a fork to lift it out and gently tap off any excess chocolate.
  • Place the coated cookie balls back on the parchment paper and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or until the chocolate has set.
  • Enjoy your Peanut Butter Oreo Cookie Balls!

Notes

  • For extra flavor, try using crunchy peanut butter instead of creamy for added texture.
  • If the peanut butter Oreo mixture is too sticky to roll into balls, refrigerating it for 10-15 minutes will make it easier to handle.
  • You can drizzle extra melted chocolate over the cookie balls for a decorative touch.
