- 1 1/2 cups crushed chocolate sandwich cookies
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup buttermilk
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 oz red food coloring
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chopped strawberries
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Mix crushed cookies and melted butter, then press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
- Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in sour cream, buttermilk, vanilla extract, red food coloring, and flour until well combined.
- Gently fold in chopped strawberries.
- Pour batter over crust and smooth the top.
- Bake for 55-60 minutes or until center is almost set.
- Allow to cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- Make sure to use room temperature cream cheese for a smooth filling.
- You can substitute the buttermilk with regular milk if you don’t have buttermilk on hand.
