  • 1 1/2 cups crushed chocolate sandwich cookies
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup buttermilk
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 oz red food coloring
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chopped strawberries

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).
  • Mix crushed cookies and melted butter, then press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  • Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  • Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • Stir in sour cream, buttermilk, vanilla extract, red food coloring, and flour until well combined.
  • Gently fold in chopped strawberries.
  • Pour batter over crust and smooth the top.
  • Bake for 55-60 minutes or until center is almost set.
  • Allow to cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

  • Make sure to use room temperature cream cheese for a smooth filling.
  • You can substitute the buttermilk with regular milk if you don’t have buttermilk on hand.
