Ingredients

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet and flatten slightly with the palm of your hand.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until set.
- Allow the cookies to cool completely on a wire rack.
- In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream until just boiling.
- Pour the hot cream over the chocolate chips and stir until smooth.
- Drizzle the ganache over the cooled cookies and top with sprinkles for decoration.
Notes
- You can refrigerate the cookie dough for 30 minutes before baking if you prefer a firmer dough.
