Description
Flaky, golden crescent rolls stuffed with savory sausage, fluffy scrambled eggs, and melted cheddar cheese—these Sausage, Egg & Cheese Crescent Rolls are the ultimate grab-and-go breakfast. Perfect for busy mornings, brunch spreads, or even breakfast-for-dinner!
Ingredients
-
1 tablespoon butter
-
4 large eggs, whisked
-
1 (8 oz) package crescent dough (8 rolls)
-
4 slices cheddar cheese, cut in half
-
8 cooked breakfast sausage links
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
-
Scramble the eggs: In a non-stick skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add the whisked eggs and cook, stirring gently until just set. Remove from heat.
-
Assemble the rolls: Unroll crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles. On the wider end of each triangle, layer half a slice of cheddar cheese, a spoonful of scrambled eggs, and 1 sausage link.
-
Roll and place: Gently roll each crescent up from the wide end to the tip, enclosing the filling. Place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
-
Bake: Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and fully cooked.
-
Serve warm and enjoy! Optional: brush tops with melted butter for an extra golden finish.
Notes
Feel free to substitute turkey sausage, plant-based sausage, or even bacon!
Add chopped veggies or hot sauce to the scrambled eggs for a flavor boost.
These can be made ahead and refrigerated or frozen, then reheated in the oven or air fryer.
