Ingredients

  • 1 lb medium shrimp, thawed and peeled

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp onion powder

  • ½ tsp smoked paprika

  • ½ tsp ground cumin

  • ½ tsp chili powder

  • 810 medium flour tortillas

Optional Toppings (to taste):

  • Sour cream

  • Salsa

  • Iceberg lettuce, shredded

  • Diced tomatoes

  • Chopped cilantro

  • Sliced avocado or guacamole

  • Lime wedges


Instructions

  • Prep the Shrimp
    Pat shrimp dry with paper towels and place in a large bowl. Toss with olive oil and all the seasonings until evenly coated.

  • Cook the Shrimp
    Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp in a single layer and cook for 2–3 minutes per side, or until pink and opaque. Remove from heat.

  • Warm the Tortillas
    Warm tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave until soft and pliable.

 

  • Assemble Tacos
    Fill each tortilla with shrimp and top with your favorite toppings. Serve with lime wedges on the side.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the shrimp for 15–30 minutes before cooking.

You can use corn tortillas for a gluten-free option.
