Ingredients

6 tablespoons butter

10-ounce bag marshmallows (about 40 large or 4 cups mini marshmallows)

6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
Instructions

Melt butter in a large saucepan over low heat.

Add marshmallows and stir continuously until completely melted and smooth.

Remove from heat and immediately stir in Rice Krispies cereal until well coated.

Press the mixture firmly into a greased 9×13 inch baking pan.

Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a teaspoon of vanilla extract to the melted marshmallow mixture.
Press mixture firmly for best shape and texture.
Store in an airtight container to keep treats soft.
