- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 8 oz pasta

Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the Italian sausage over medium heat until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the onion and garlic. Cook until softened.
- Add the diced tomatoes and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer.
- Stir in the pasta and cooked sausage. Cook until pasta is tender.
- Season with salt and pepper. Serve topped with fresh basil and grated Parmesan cheese.
