Ingredients

  • 10 fresh red chili peppers
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1/4 cup of white vinegar

Instructions

  • Remove the stems from the chili peppers and chop them roughly.
  • Peel and mince the garlic cloves.
  • In a saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add the chopped chili peppers and minced garlic to the saucepan.
  • Season with salt and black pepper, then cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Add the white vinegar to the saucepan and simmer for another 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
  • Remove from heat and let the mixture cool completely.
  • Transfer the cooled mixture to a blender and blend until smooth.
  • Store the spicy pepper sauce in a sealed container in the refrigerator. It will keep for up to two weeks.

  • Adjust the amount of chili peppers depending on your preferred spice level.
  • For a smokier flavor, you can add a chipotle pepper or use smoked salt.
