Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup whipped cream
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, diced
- 1/2 cup strawberry jam
- 1 cup Rice Krispies cereal
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a baking dish (an 8×8-inch dish works well) to form the crust.
- In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and whipped cream together until smooth and creamy. Spread the mixture over the graham cracker crust.
- In a small saucepan, heat the strawberry jam over medium heat until melted. Stir in the diced strawberries and mix well. Spread the strawberry mixture evenly over the cream cheese layer.
- Sprinkle Rice Krispies cereal on top of the strawberry layer for crunch.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or until set before cutting into squares or bites
Notes
- If you prefer, you can use frozen strawberries instead of fresh, but make sure to drain any excess liquid before adding them to the jam.
- For a more intense strawberry flavor, consider adding a bit of strawberry extract to the cream cheese layer.
- You can store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
