Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped nuts (such as walnuts or pecans)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sweetened condensed milk until smooth.
  • Gradually add in the flour, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  • Stir in the finely chopped nuts of your choice.
  • Shape the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the cookies are set but not browned.
  • Allow the cookies to cool slightly, then roll them in powdered sugar while they are still warm.
  • Let the cookies cool completely on a wire rack.

Notes

  • These cookies are best enjoyed fresh, but they can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week.
  • If you’d like to switch up the flavor, try adding a bit of almond extract instead of vanilla.
