Ingredients

For the Rolls:

3½ cups all-purpose flour

2¼ tsp active dry yeast

1¼ cups warm milk (110°F/43°C)

½ cup honey or sugar
 - 
6 Tbsp unsalted butter
 - 
1 tsp salt
 - 
1 large egg
 - 
~3–4 Tbsp warm water (if needed)

For Cinnamon Honey Butter:
- 
½ cup unsalted butter, softened
 - 
¼ cup honey
 - 
¼ cup powdered sugar
 - 
½ tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions
- 
Activate Yeast – Whisk warm milk, honey, and yeast. Let stand until foamy (~5–10 min).

Make Dough – In mixer, beat butter, egg, salt into milk mixture. Gradually add flour. Knead until smooth, adding water if needed.
 - 
First Rise – Cover bowl; let dough rise in warm place until doubled (~1 hour).
 - 
Shape Rolls – Punch dough, roll out, cut into 12–16 pieces. Place on greased sheet or pan.
 - 
Second Rise – Cover; let rise until puffy (~30–45 min).
 - 
Bake – Preheat oven to 350 °F (175 °C). Bake rolls 15–20 min until golden brown.

Brush Butter – Immediately brush tops with melted butter after baking.

Make Honey Butter – Whip butter, honey, powdered sugar, and cinnamon until smooth. Serve with warm rolls.
