Ingredients
For the Cookies:
-
1/2 cup butter (softened)
-
3/4 cup sugar
-
1 large egg
-
1 large egg yolk
-
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
-
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
-
1 teaspoon baking powder
-
1/2 teaspoon salt
Topping:
-
16 ounces caramel dip (you may have extra)
-
3/4 cup milk chocolate (chips or bar, melted)
-
1 cup Twix candy bars (chopped)
Instructions
-
Make the cookie base:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, cream together softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add egg, egg yolk, and vanilla; mix until combined. -
Add dry ingredients:
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture until a dough forms. -
Shape and bake:
Scoop 1–1.5 tablespoon portions of dough onto baking sheets. Flatten slightly.
Bake for 10–12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden. Let cool completely. -
Add caramel:
Spread about 1 tablespoon of caramel dip onto each cooled cookie. -
Top with chocolate and Twix:
Drizzle or spread melted milk chocolate over the caramel layer.
While chocolate is still soft, sprinkle chopped Twix candy on top.
Allow the chocolate to set before serving (refrigerate briefly to speed up).
Notes
Let cookies cool completely before adding toppings to prevent melting.
Use store-bought caramel dip for ease, or homemade if preferred.
Try chilling the cookies after topping for cleaner presentation.
