  • Yield: 12-16 Oreo Pops (depending on how many cookies you use) 1x
  • Diet: Vegetarian

Description

These Valentine’s Day Oreo Pops are a fun and easy treat to make for the holiday! Oreo cookies are dipped in colorful chocolate and decorated with sprinkles, making them the perfect sweet bite-sized snack for any celebration. Whether you’re gifting them to a loved one or serving them at a party, these Oreo pops are sure to impress!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package of Oreo cookies (about 36 cookies)
  • 10 oz white chocolate or pink candy melts (or any color you prefer)
  • 1/4 cup red or pink sprinkles (optional)
  • 1/4 cup heart-shaped sprinkles (optional)
  • 68 lollipop sticks (or wooden skewers)
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil (optional, to thin the chocolate)
  • 1/4 cup melted dark chocolate or milk chocolate (optional for drizzling)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Oreo pops: Gently twist each Oreo cookie to separate the halves. Insert a lollipop stick into the filling of each Oreo, being careful not to break the cookie. Reattach the cookie halves.
  • Melt the chocolate: Melt the white chocolate or candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval until smooth. If the mixture is too thick, add a tablespoon of vegetable oil to thin it out.
  • Dip the Oreos: Dip each Oreo on a stick into the melted chocolate, coating it fully. Tap the stick gently to allow excess chocolate to drip off.
  • Decorate: While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle your choice of sprinkles (heart-shaped or colorful) onto the pops. You can also drizzle melted dark or milk chocolate on top for an added touch of flavor and decoration.
  • Chill and set: Place the dipped Oreo pops on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and refrigerate for 15-20 minutes or until the chocolate has fully hardened.
  • Serve and enjoy: Once set, your Valentine’s Day Oreo Pops are ready to serve! They make for a cute gift or fun treat for your celebration.

Notes

  • You can use any color of candy melts to match the theme of your party or celebration.
  • For a fun twist, add a few different types of sprinkles like mini chocolate chips or edible glitter for extra decoration.
  • These Oreo pops are great for kids and adults alike! Feel free to get creative with the decorations.
  • If you don’t have lollipop sticks, you can also use wooden skewers or simply serve them on a platter without sticks.
