Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 vanilla bean, split and scraped
  • 1 packet powdered gelatin
  • 3 tbsp cold water
  • Mixed berries, for topping

Instructions

  • In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla bean over medium heat, stirring occasionally until the sugar is dissolved.
  • In a small bowl, sprinkle the gelatin over the cold water and let it sit for 5 minutes to bloom.
  • Remove the vanilla bean from the cream mixture and whisk in the bloomed gelatin until fully dissolved.
  • Pour the mixture into ramekins and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.
  • Top with mixed berries before serving.

Notes

  • You can use other fruits like strawberries, raspberries, or blueberries for topping.
  • For a stronger vanilla flavor, you can add a splash of vanilla extract in addition to the vanilla bean.
