Description

A creamy and hearty dish combining rotini pasta, savory ground beef, and a rich garlic Parmesan sauce. Perfect for a quick and delicious meal

Ingredients

  • 12 oz rotini pasta

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

  • 2 cups milk

  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Cook the Pasta:
In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the rotini pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  • Cook the Beef:
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess fat and set the beef aside.

  • Make the Sauce:
In the same skillet, heat olive oil or butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

  • Prepare the Roux:
Sprinkle the flour into the skillet and whisk for 1–2 minutes until golden and bubbly.

  • Add Milk and Seasonings:
Gradually add the milk while whisking to create a smooth sauce. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for 3–5 minutes until the sauce thickens.

  • Combine:
Return the cooked beef and drained pasta to the skillet. Toss to coat everything evenly in the creamy garlic-Parmesan sauce.

  • Garnish and Serve:
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes
