  • Author: Sarah
  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Yield: 34 servings (about 30 bites) 1x

Description

Bite-sized pieces of fluffy French toast infused with warm cinnamon roll flavors and topped with a luscious cream cheese glaze. These quick, easy, and irresistible bites combine the best of cinnamon rolls and French toast — perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a sweet snack any time of day.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 68 pre-made cinnamon rolls (refrigerated or frozen, thawed)

  • 3 large eggs

  • ½ cup milk

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 2 tbsp butter (for cooking)

For the glaze:

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  • 23 tbsp milk or cream

Instructions

  1. Cut cinnamon rolls into bite-sized pieces.

  2. In a shallow bowl, whisk eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until combined.

  3. Heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

  4. Dip each cinnamon roll piece into the egg mixture, coating thoroughly.

  5. Cook bites in skillet, turning occasionally, until golden and cooked through (about 3–4 minutes).

  6. While cooking, whisk together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and milk until smooth to make the glaze.

  7. Serve warm bites drizzled generously with cream cheese glaze.

Notes

Slightly stale cinnamon rolls soak up the egg mixture better for a custardy texture.

Avoid overcrowding the pan to ensure even cooking.

Keep cooked bites warm in a low oven while finishing the batch.

For extra fluffiness, add a splash of heavy cream to the egg mixture.

Stir glaze before serving if it thickens.
