  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 12 small corn tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro

Instructions

  • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and diced onion over medium heat until the beef is browned and the onion is tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Stir in the taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens and becomes well combined.
  • In a separate skillet, heat a small amount of oil over medium heat. Fry the corn tortillas one at a time until they are crispy, about 1-2 minutes per side.
  • Fill each crispy tortilla with the seasoned ground beef mixture.
