- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1/2 cup water
- 12 small corn tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and diced onion over medium heat until the beef is browned and the onion is tender, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens and becomes well combined.
- In a separate skillet, heat a small amount of oil over medium heat. Fry the corn tortillas one at a time until they are crispy, about 1-2 minutes per side.
- Fill each crispy tortilla with the seasoned ground beef mixture.
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, a dollop of sour cream, and a sprinkle of fresh cilantro.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
